Arjun Ganesh underwent training from Pungulam Sri Sabesha Iyer, and is presently learning from Pungulam Sri Subramanyam. He is a B High Grade artist in the All India Radio. He has won the award for the best Mridangam artist from Sri Krishna Gana Sabha. He has also won the talent promotion award from Narada Gana Sabha in 2005. Arjun Ganesh has been accompanying several senior artists in many prominent sabhas.
